TUPPER LAKE – The Wild Center was recently nominated as “Best science museum” in USA TODAY 2023 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Those interested in supporting the Wild Center nomination can vote online through Feb. 13.
Chosen by a panel of travel experts, the list of 20 nominees features museums across the country where science and natural history come to life. Among the list are some of the largest science museums in the country, including the Field Museum in Chicago, the American Museum of Natural History in New York, and the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC.
“It’s an honor to be nominated for a 10Best award alongside other science museums we admire,” said Wild Center marketing director Nick Gunn. “We have had overwhelming support so far and we hope that will continue. We encourage everyone to vote early, vote often, and help us recognize the Adirondacks nationally. »
To vote for the Wild Center, go to wildcenter.org/vote. Votes can be cast once a day until the polls close at noon on February 13. The winners will be announced on Friday, February 24.
