Rana Zand and Mariam Rastegar have joined the digital department of Range Media Partners as managers, after leaving UNCMMN, a subsidiary of MACRO.

Zand and Rastegar will help grow the talent management company’s expanding digital creative business, focusing on diverse voices, while supporting Range Media’s roster on YouTube, Instagram and other digital platforms. At UNCMMN, Zand served as a partner and Rastegar as a senior talent manager who led digital strategy and development for digital native talent and traditional clients.

Range Media’s clients span all industries – film, television, music, sports, technology, literature, activism – and the company is designed to support talent and scale its portfolio companies.

Prior to UNCMMN, Zand, who started in the WME mailroom, worked at Authentic for four years as a digital talent manager and focused on growing the division, from hiring a team to expand its digital roaster. She crossed over from digital native talent to traditional platforms, which included TV shows on HBO, Hulu and Nickelodeon.

Rastegar began her career in the mailroom at ICM Partners, where she worked in the television commercial and literary endorsements department. She also held roles at Conde Nast and DBA, where she focused on cross-hyphenate talent with a focus on growing their social footprint and digital businesses.

Range Media Partners was formed in 2020 amid the pandemic by former CAA agent and production manager Peter Micelli, along with a number of agents with high-profile clients who left companies like CAA, UTA and WME to join the company.
