PLANO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:TYL) announced that it has signed an agreement with the General Division and Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas in Lucas County, Ohio for Tyler’s Enterprise Justice Suite, powered by Odyssey®. Specifically, the court selected Enterprise Case Manager, Financial Management, Content Management, Integration Toolkit and Custom Reporting.
The county chose Tyler to provide a comprehensive case management system that can easily connect to Tyler’s currently used eFile & Serve electronic filing system. The solutions will be delivered as a cloud-hosted service, which will allow the county to easily share crucial real-time case information between courts.
“We look forward to expanding our use of Tyler’s justice solutions with the upcoming implementation of the Enterprise Justice Suite,” said Eric Zatko, director of Lucas County Justice Integrated Systems. “Integrating e-filing into our case management system will simplify a number of processes for our staff and constituents. We will also be able to expertly handle highly sensitive data in these cases due to the strength of the solution and selected deployment. »
Enterprise Justice will be delivered as a hosted service, bringing several benefits to Lucas County, including increased solution uptime and availability, and enhanced security and compliance. Additionally, this deployment eliminates the need for the court to create and maintain a local server environment.
“We are excited to bring many benefits to Lucas County through our Enterprise Justice Suite, including efficient management of legal and financial matters, customized reporting, and enhanced data sharing,” said Brian McGrath, president of the Courts & Justice division of Tyler. “Providing these solutions as a cloud-hosted service will also strengthen the county’s security and compliance, providing better service to its constituents.”
Lucas County is located in northwest Ohio and is bordered to the east by Lake Erie. It has nearly 430,000 inhabitants and includes the city of Toledo. Lucas County is the ninth justice community in Ohio to adopt Tyler’s justice solutions.
